still visible walls
of the ancient castle,
Eggi offers many picturesque foreshortening
and a valuable
artistic inheritance,
consisting of important frescos inside
the churches of
St. Michele Arcangelo,
St. Giovanni Battista and
Madonna delle Grazie, ascribed to,
among others,
the so-called
'Maestro di Eggi'
and to the
'Spagna'.
