Gained
from a
typical
pigeon-house tower
of 1761, as signed by
the date engraved
on a flat tile,
its name is
due to the wood-pigeons
that lived here till few years ago,
whose shelters are still visible
inside the house.
In the living-room there is
an ancient and rare
"mattera", a piece of
furniture used as
flour stockage,
drew from
here for any
domestic need.
Palombaia has its own
court-yard and consists,
arranged on two floors,
on one living-room, kitchen, toilette
and a wide room with three beds. |
